Display and Overlay Options
This article speaks about displaying 3D models and overlays on top of these models. All models are generated when the model generation is run. Some of them may become available for viewing before others.
Available outputs
that can be selected and displayed from the model drop-down shown below are:

- 2D Model - A model where ll terrain height are set to zero showing a flat model.
- 2.5D Terrain Map - A filtered surface model where elements such as vegetation, structures, constructed objects, and machines are filters out.
- 2.5D Surface Map - An unfiltered surface model which provides high details revealing some subtle topographical features.
- 3D Texture model - A full 3D textured model.
- 3D Point Cloud - A full 3D point cloud.
Overlays are generated automatically and can be shown on top of a 3D model.
Available overlays can be selected from the Overlays drop-down as shown below and are:
- Elevation color map – can be viewed on the 2.5D Maps
When Elevation
option is checked a toolbar will appear next to it that will open a dialog that
allows you to define ranges and opacity of the color map as shown below.
- Contour Lines – can be viewed on the 2.5D Maps
Also, when Contour
Lines option is checked a toolbar will appear next to it that will open a
dialog that allows you to define the intervals and opacity of the contour lines
as shown below. Every time these parameters are changes and saved a new contour line file is generated and added to the downloadable files.
- GCPs – can be viewed on 2.5D Maps or 3D Dense Cloud. Additionally GCP file may be downloaded here using the download button shown below.

The figure below
shows all available options turned on.
