Crash in DatuFly App when Importing KMZ/KML

Crash in DatuFly App when Importing KMZ/KML

DatuFly App crashes sometimes when user tries to import KML/KMZ file.  The crash happens after updating iOS to version 14.7.1 or higher on the tablet or when DatuFly app is installed for the first time on a tablet with iOS version 14.7.1 or higher.

To fix this issue you need to allow the Location Service before you open the app for the first time.  If Location service is turned on while the app is running you need to  close DatuFly and start it again and you should be able to do the Import without issues.

If the Message to allow app to use the location doesn't appear, you can do it on the iOS setting  as follows:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
  2. Make sure that Location Services is on.
  3. Scroll down to find the DatuFly app.
  4. Tap the app and select an option: While Using the App

We will  resolve this issue in the near future.
