Adding a Measurement Object

As an example, we will add an area measurement.  In general the same flow applies to all other measurements. To add the area measurement follow the steps below:

A.    Click the polygonal analysis tool bar (  ), and select the Area option under Measurements.



B.    Mark the polygon you are interested in measuring the area of and close it with a double click.



C.    Give the area a name and save click Save. 



D.    The measured area will appear on top of the model as well as in the measurements tab on the left as shown below.
